Tyrone Adams is an entrepreneur focused on growing African businesses using technology. An experienced software engineer with an appetite to tackle big problems in unknown territories. After qualifying as a fresh naive software developer, he took on the challenge of building what he believed to be technology that had an impact. Tyrone decided at the time that he would enter the corporate world and learn as much as possible to pursue his journey.
His stint in corporate was quicker than most, after only 6 months, he felt he was in the wrong place and needed to leave and thus began his journey of entrepreneurship. After 4 years he has built a successful bespoke software development business with clients in the USA, Australia, Namibia and South Africa. From the work himself and his team have done and partnerships built, they have created two new startups, one focused on solving problems in the Facility Maintenance space and second in the Service Delivery space.
Tyrone is an avid reader exploring topics from philosophy, science, technology and business. He spends his time exploring new ideas and concepts using technology, especially those that will be the driving force of future African businesses.
